We were approached by a prominent developer to design a modular marketing suite that would be easily transportable via lorry. We began by taking the outer dimensions of a forty-foot shipping container and then using those dimensions to create a grid upon which the marketing suite could be designed around. This would have allowed the suite to be manufactured in a factory and then easily transported to any site in the country via lorry. The design was later fine-tuned, to allow us to modify two existing forty-foot shipping containers, using timber, ceramic and metal cladding panels to soften the external appearance and internally carefully cut and partition the containers to create a new modern prefabricated transportable workspace, that they could easily and quickly assemble and disassemble on site.
